How Handshake Journey Started
After a bad wreck that nearly cost him his life, Dennis Schultz had to change. He lost his leg and he hung up his career as a truck driver in 2016. Now he has dedicated his life to honoring those firefighters and first responders who saved his life.
Dennis goes on speaking tours to share his story and raise awareness for firefighters, veterans, and first responders. His Essay, “You’re Still Kneeling, Why Am I Still Standing?” describes his life philosophy and how he was able to turn something negative into something positive.Â
